This equipment is suitable for percolation processes in the pharmaceutical, food, and chemical industries.
Structural features
This equipment mainly consists of a tank, spray pipes, and a pneumatic slag discharge door. The solvent is evenly sprayed onto the medicinal materials through the spray pipes at the top of the tank. Through soaking, the effective components of the medicinal materials are dissolved into the solvent. Percolation is a method of extraction in which an extraction solvent is continuously added to the coarse powder of the medicinal materials, causing the extract to flow out from the bottom outlet of the percolation tank. During percolation, the solvent penetrates into the cells of the medicinal materials, dissolving a large amount of soluble substances. As the concentration and density increase, it moves downwards, displacing the upper layer of extraction solvent or dilute extract, creating a good concentration gradient. This allows for better natural diffusion, resulting in a better extraction effect than maceration, and the extraction is more complete.
