This equipment is suitable for alcohol precipitation processes in industries such as traditional Chinese medicine, oral liquids, food, health products, and chemicals.
The alcohol precipitation tank is a developed unit based on the conventional alcohol precipitation method (also referred to as solvent exchange or alcohol rod process). It is primarily used for freezing or room‑temperature alcohol precipitation of concentrated traditional Chinese medicine decoctions, and can also be applied to water precipitation of concentrated solutions obtained after alcohol extraction of herbal materials.
The equipment consists of an elliptical head with a jacket, a cylindrical body with a conical bottom, an internal three‑blade agitator, and a fine‑tuning swirl tube. For the concentration of traditional Chinese medicine decoctions, alcohol is added to achieve a specified alcohol content, followed by liquid‑solid separation at room temperature and then low‑temperature cryogenic sedimentation. This procedure helps improve the purity and clarity of the extract.
The entire unit is fabricated from AISI304 stainless steel and is equipped with an automatic high‑pressure water spray cleaning system. Low‑temperature cooling water may be circulated through the jacket. The transmission parts incorporate mechanical seals and explosion‑proof motors to support safe production operations, and the design complies with GMP pharmaceutical standards. The equipment surface is available with either a mirror or matte finish.

CIP stands for Clean In-Place System, which refers to a system that cleans and disinfects production equipment (tanks, pipes, pumps, etc.) and the entire production line in a closed loop without requiring manual disassembly or opening. It is suitable for cleaning equipment and pipelines in industries such as dairy, beverage, alcohol, and agricultural product processing.
